🥶FREEZE THE RENT🥶
We’re rallying with the tenant movement on Thurs 5/7 at 5 pm outside the Rent Guidelines Board meeting where they’ll lay out the proposals for next year’s rent. We demand a RENT FREEZE for 1- and 2-year leases—and only massive organized pressure can stop Big Real Estate’s attacks on our popular agenda.

BREAKING: JPMorgan warns that NYC’s credit could be downgraded if we don’t tax the rich.

When even the big banks say tax the rich, it just shows how extreme Hochul’s austerity crusade is.

Kathy Hochul is so blinded by the interests of a handful of rich donors that she can’t see she’s putting the city and state’s economic future in jeopardy.

Join us on Weds for a huge canvass to tax the rich and save our city. Link in bio.

Governor Hochul’s budget would be terrible for New York City.

Over a million people voted for Zohran’s affordability agenda. Hochul wants to crush it by imposing austerity on NYC.

If she doesn’t tax the rich and fund our city, she’ll force NYC to cut the programs and services we rely on.

Here’s what $5 billion in cuts could look like.

Join us for a big canvass to show Hochul we’re fighting to win the affordable city we voted for. Link in bio.

Only an organized working class can defeat the federal assaults on immigrants, unjustifiable wars, and Amazon’s exploitation. A working class movement elected and we continue to fight for the passage of New York for All, Dignity Not Detention, and a state budget that taxes millionaires and corporations, putting the profits of stolen labor back into the public good, not US imperialism.

Because as says, “workers deserve it all.”

Who built the Empire State Building?

Who keeps the magic alive on Broadway?

Who drives our buses and cleans our streets?

Yesterday, while met with billionaire CEO Ken Griffin, we showed up on her doorstep with hundreds of the working-class New Yorkers she SHOULD be listening to.

Is Hochul going to be a governor for the CEO class or the working class?

Tax the rich, Kathy.
