Yesterday, we came together to kick off Burien’s excitement for the FIFA World Cup 26™ with the official flag raising of our Burien’s Summer of Soccer (Fútbol) & Fun logo!
The energy was incredible as our community celebrated the start of a summer filled with soccer, culture, and connection. Thank you to Fred Mendoza from the RAVE Foundation for joining us as our guest speaker!
This weekend, soak up the sunshine at Town Square Park, cheer along dedicated fans. Grab some delicious eats from nearby restaurants and join us for a weekend of exciting soccer matches.

It's here-- ⚽Burien's Summer of Soccer and Fun⚽ officially begins tomorrow!
There will be brief remarks and raising a Burien-themed soccer flag over Burien City Hall in celebration of the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup 2026™ on Thursday, June 11 at noon.
Come watch the 🇲🇽Mexico vs. South Africa🇿🇦 match in Town Square Park on the big screen. The Burien Farmers Market will be happening, the fountain is on. It's going to be a warm, beautiful day to watch the beautiful game.☀😎
