Chief For a Day is about celebrating the lives of children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening or chronic medical condition.
The hope is to provide these children with a day of fun they will never forget and to become a part of their precious lives. It will be our mission to help these children, and their families, to forget about their illness if only for one day. In addition to each child having a hand-tailored uniform from their sponsoring agency, each child will be sworn in as “Chief” or “Sheriff” for the day. After

To ensure Chief For a Day celebrates the lives of children with chronic illnesses, in a way that is balanced and manageable for all the children and their families, the next event has been moved to August 19, 2021. We will be posting details for planning and participating in the event soon.
