BURLESON’S SUMMER HOT LIST JUST GOT A LITTLE BRIGHTER

The Burleson Police Department Top 10 Most Wanted list is still bringing the summer heat, but one spot just got an update.

David Smith has been arrested, which means his photo has officially been replaced by a smiling sunshine in sunglasses. Honestly, that may be the most relaxed anyone has ever looked on this list.

That is one more off the Hot List, but we still have several more who apparently think “No Vacation From Warrants” is just a suggestion.

Take a look at the updated list and help us keep the pressure on.

Update: Roadway is now clear

Northbound 35 just north of the Alsbury bridge is down to one lane due to a crash. Expect delays and seek alternate route if possible.

UPDATE: All lanes are reopen as of 4:30 p.m. June 18.

If Wilshire Boulevard is part of your plans, you may want a Plan B. Public safety crews are working an accident at Wilshire and Summercrest boulevards, and traffic is backed up with only one northbound lane open. Your patience may be stuck in traffic, too.

As of 10:10 AM, Burleson PD and FD Units were able to clear the roadway, and open the roadway up.

Burleson Police and Fire are working a major accident in the northbound 1000-blk S Interstate 35W and northbound 1000-blk S Burleson Blvd (Hidden Creek/Renfro exit).

Please try to avoid this area, and seek alternate routes at this time. Expect delays while traveling through this area.

Burleson Police and Fire are working a major crash on southbound 3400-blk I-35W near Exit 30 / FM 917.

Please avoid the area and use an alternate route.

We are also seeing onlooker delay on the northbound side, so expect delays in both directions.

Traffic has now resumed its normal operation.

***Major Accident***

We are currently working a major accident on Interstate 35w at the Bethesda exit ramp on the north bound side. Please seek an alternative route if you must travel through this area.
