Impact West GA is still in need of someone to lead our fall Literacy program. You could be the person who convinces a man or woman they're capable of more than they every dreamed. Or you might be the first one to give them the one thing they may never have had-someone who believes in them.
We will train you and be by your side whenever you need us. We have teachers and helpers but we NEED A LEADER!

It was such a pleasure to back with the Carrollton Lions Club to talk about Impact West GA. What a gracious group of civic minded, wonderful people.

Anyone want a portable hot tub? We have one to give away to the first one to ask for it. It is at 410 Newnan Rd at our offices.

Hey Everyone: Do you have some time to teach someone how to read and write?

We have several adults who want Adult Reading and Writing classes. Classes are one on one and the schedule is designed by the teacher and student. We have the materials you will need and space for you to do it.

There's nothing like seeing the light come on in someone's eyes when they realize they can read! Please help us find teachers for these folks.

WANT TO HELP OUR LOCAL VETERANS?
We need additional drivers for the DESERVE Van. Drive once a week or be a substitute to help out when a regular driver is out. Training takes 15 minutes and we only drive in Carroll County. We have a client that needs a wheelchair. We usually have one on hand but we do not have one now. If you have a wheelchair that this client could borrow for a time, please let me know asap. POSTPONED
The Story Party scheduled for tonight at ACE has been postponed until sunny weather returns. It is supposed to rain and the ground is very soggy so we are postponing the party. Keep watch for the new date.

Due to a last minute cancellation we still need one more Guardian for the HONOR FLIGHT.
