Jaye and his beautiful eyes are waiting for a second chance to have a great life. Like any new pet, he'll need time to adjust and some training. He's fairly new to us, and we don't know much about his history or how he might behave with other pets at this point. But he did really well for his exam and vaccines at the shelter. The technicians noted that he was "energetic, food motivated, and friendly. He did well for his exam and vaccines with treat distraction!" That makes sense - I do well with treat distraction too! 😉🥰(Jaye, ID: A252051, estimated to be about a year old)

Meet Jarvy, our resident sweetheart and certified little sweet potato. He’s one of the friendliest guys you’ll ever meet, and he wins over everyone with his gentle, happy personality. Jarvy does have some mobility challenges with his back legs. He went to an outside clinic for x‑rays and there are no obvious orthopedic issues that would explain his condition. Thankfully, he's a happy little guy and he's actually getting around quite well. He’s stable, comfortable, and only needs a few small environmental tweaks to help him get around.
Jarvy uses his litter box on his own and keeps himself clean and well-groomed. Every now and then he may make a tiny mess because of his mobility, but overall he’s a bright, interactive, and very content kitty. Everyone at the shelter absolutely adores him.
He can enjoy a wonderful life, but he may never be a cat who regularly climbs cat trees, perches, or stairs (no access to stairs please, he could tumble). He'll do best in a home set up with easy access to food, water, litter, and cozy resting spots. If introduced to other animals, extra care is needed since he can’t move away from potential stressors as quickly as other cats.
Jarvy is such a special boy who deserves a loving adopter or rescue to help him continue thriving. If you have room in your heart (and home!) for a gentle, resilient companion, he’s ready to meet you. Good morning from Wallaby! He'd like you to stop by and meet him when we open at 10am! This guy is a lovable bundle of energy who thrives on being part of the family, whether he's following you around the house, waiting politely by your side, or cuddling on the couch. Wallaby is incredibly affectionate, food-driven, and loves giving kisses, rolling around with sticks, and going for swims. He rides great in the car, listens beautifully, and is eager to please.
