AMERICA’S STORY: Chattanooga man devotes retirement to volunteering at food bank Tim Gorman, a retired Chattanooga resident, volunteers at the Chattanooga Area Food Bank to give back to the community, helping serve families and offering companionship to visitors, highlighting the meaningful connections beyond just providing food assistance.

The last event in our Fresh Food, Families, and Finance series was a huge success! If you haven't been to one of these events, it is a great learning opportunity for you and your child to attend a financial literacy class, and then "shop" with play money at a real farmers' market. You'll leave with 40+ pounds of free, healthy, locally-grown and produced food like eggs, honey, veggies, apples, grits, meat, and more!
