UTC Library

The UTC Library is making it easier for students, faculty and staff to explore all the city has to offer.

Through the Chattanooga Passport program, members of the UTC community can check out passes to some of the area’s most popular attractions, including the Tennessee Aquarium, Chattanooga Zoo, Ruby Falls, Chattanooga Theatre Centre and Chattanooga Football Club.

“We’re a community-engaged University,” said Katie Gohn, collection services department head in the UTC Library. “We want students to get out and experience Chattanooga.”

Hey, Mocs!! Want a way to see what the Scenic City has to offer for FREE? With the UTC Library's NEW Chattanooga Passport Program, you'll be able to borrow passes to several different locations around the city using your MocsID!

A Chattanooga Passport won’t help you travel abroad, but will help you explore venues like the Tennessee Aquarium, Chattanooga Zoo, Chattanooga Football Club, and more! The Chattanooga Passport program is a fun new way for UTC Students, Faculty, and Staff to enjoy Chattanooga’s popular attractions.

Check out this month's displays on the First Floor! To borrow a book from a display, simply bring the book you're interested in to the Check Out Desk with your MocsID (physical OR digital). Did you know that current students can borrow 50 books at a time until the end of the current semester? 📚

Email and chat services will remain open from 7:45am - 5pm (regular summer hours) for those who need assistance with library resources, but no in person services will be available.
