When grilling, food safety is essential for a great meal. To prepare a meal that is safe for consumption, follow these steps:
-Always keep your hands, utensils, and food surfaces clean!
-Remember to separate raw meats from ready-to-eat foods.
-Refrigerate perishable items to prevent the growth of harmful germs and bacteria.
-Use a food thermometer to ensure that the meat is cooked to a safe internal temperature.
