Spent the week in Atlanta with the team at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America National Conference 2026. Tons of lessons, connections, and inspiration to bring back as we look to continue living out our mission 💚🖤

A few months ago, we celebrated Big Brother Mark and Little Brother Akram taking their match beyond the school walls. 💚

Recently, Akram reached another milestone, promoting from 8th grade, and Mark was there to celebrate right alongside him.

Big thanks to Chattanooga Police Department for giving us an opportunity to convince every officer to become a Big! Hope it worked 🤞

Markiyah Hayes is a recent graduate from and has been a Little Sister in our E-Mentoring program for 2 years. Markiyah plans to attend Middle and study Exercise Science. 

“Having a Big Sister for the past two years has motivated me to stay focused on school and work toward my goals. She has encouraged me to do my best, stay organized, and believe in myself, which has made me more serious about going to college.”

Our team had a chance to visit one of our Big Deals partners a few weeks ago and enjoy their awesome ice cream and sweet treats!

A huge congratulations to our intern Mark Passons on graduating with his undergrad degree in Social Work! This past year, Mark poured his heart into our community—interviewing Littles, leading activities with our Beyond School Walls program, tabling at recruitment events, and stepping up whenever we needed him. He was even matched with a Little of his own, JJ! 

Mark, thank you for your incredible dedication this year. We are so lucky to have you in our corner, and we can’t wait to see the impact you and JJ make together! 💚🖤
