We're excited to celebrate the first anniversary of Dallos Vinyl Love! 🎶🎉

What started as a locally owned record shop in Chattanooga's Southside has become a community gathering place filled with music, connection, and love for our city.

On Saturday, June 13, Dallos Vinyl Love is celebrating one incredible year with special guest DJs, great music, and good vibes all day long. We're especially grateful that Northside Neighborhood House has been selected as one of the featured nonprofit partners for the celebration!

During Jessica's guest DJ hour, Dallos Vinyl Love will donate $100 plus 15% of all sales made during her set to support Northside Neighborhood House and our mission of helping neighbors thrive.

Come support local business, and help make a difference in our community. We hope to see you there!

Thank you, Tennessee Valley Authority for helping us tackle our end-of-year school project at Red Bank Middle School last month. Their team spent the day reorganizing the band facilities to create a dedicated practice space for students. From moving lockers and sound panels to reinstalling equipment, this was no small task, but they worked hard and kept smiling the whole time. We are grateful for partners who help make our schools better places for students to learn and grow!

Our new long-term case management program, Rooted Together, is officially underway! This first cohort includes ten single mothers who are committed to creating brighter futures for themselves and their children.

Research shows that sustained case management can improve long-term outcomes for families by increasing stability, strengthening access to resources, and supporting progress toward financial goals. Through one-on-one support, goal setting, and educational workshops focused on financial stability, career readiness, and community resources, participants are building the tools and confidence needed for lasting change.

Because when families have the support they need to thrive, the impact can last for generations. Stay tuned as we support these mothers for the next 5 months.

Our Community School Coordinators have officially wrapped up an incredible school year! These dedicated individuals are embedded in our schools, building deep roots within the community, and connecting families with the vital community resources students need to thrive.

To celebrate the end of the year, our coordinators spent their last day volunteering together with one of our amazing partners, White Oak Bicycle Co-op Together, our team rolled up their sleeves and built 31 bikes that will go directly to kids!

White Oak is doing incredible work in our community promoting physical activity, safety, healthy neighborhoods, and transportation. They partner with our schools to provide both bikes and education to students.

This hands-on day gave our coordinators a deeper look at the impact White Oak makes, while giving our team a chance to connect, bond, and strengthen our own relationships.

Our coordinators will be taking a brief summer break, but they’ll be back in action this July to gear up for another amazing year.

Wishing all of our students, families, and school staff a safe, happy, and wonderful summer!
