🦋 A message to the community 🦋

Hundreds of our neighbors have been deeply impacted by recent detentions affecting caregivers and breadwinners in their families. Many are struggling to maintain housing, pay utilities, and afford basic needs like food. Everyday activities like going to work, school, or the grocery store have become increasingly difficult. But while the need is great, we believe our community is greater.

That’s why we are participating in a $100,000 fundraising campaign this summer to directly assist the individuals and families most affected in our community.

Protect Rogers Park and West Ridge Community Defense have partnered with Northside Community Resources and Living Water Church to establish the Immigrant Solidarity Fund. If you’ve ever wondered how you can help, this is a practical, concrete way to support local families. Please consider sharing and donating generously!

Besides GoFundMe, you can also send it by check. Simply make it payable to Northside Community Resources, add “Immigrant Solidarity Fund” in the memo line and mail to 1530 W Morse Ave, Chicago, IL 60626

Donations will be administered by Northside Community Resources, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Receipts are available upon request.
