Program Description: HACIA’s Assistant Project Engineer (APE) Program prepares participants for careers in construction through hands-on training, industry exposure, professional development, financial literacy, and direct connections to employers and construction leaders.

Must reside in Chicago’s West or South Sides (A full breakdown of eligibility will be provided in the application. You can also use the City of Chicago TIF (Planning Regions Map) tool to determine your location’s eligibility. )

Alumni currently enrolled in a 2-4 year college/university studying political science or a related degree, this internship is for you! The GCA Intern is a temporary position that works as part of the Government and Community Affairs team to build collective power alongside Noble families and all stakeholders through education, community building, and guidance towards advocacy pathways.

The days for this position are flexible, with a strong preference that the individual is available Monday from 9:00am to 12:00pm. The hours of this position will total 20 hours every week. The location of this position will primarily be at Noble’s office at 1 N State Street, with remote work as an option during certain times. This is only open to candidates who reside or will reside in the Chicagoland area as of August 3, 2026.
