Addressing Homelessness, Providing Shelter, Accepting People, Finding Home. http://ccolife.org/donate FUNDING IN PART BY:

US Dept.

Brief History-
Cornerstone began as a small group effort in 1989, with a few people working to meet the needs of their neighbors. At that time, women with children were becoming the new faces of homelessness in America. CCO felt drawn to meet this need to serve and shelter women with children. Over the following 20 years our programs have expanded to serve around 500 men, women, and children daily

Some amazing people from the Chicago Metropolitan Sports Association’s (CMSA) flag football league came to help assemble father's day gifts for our dads and to help out in our free store!

Chicago Hopes for Kids set up a reading library in our cafeteria for our shelter guests to use.

This will be the third of Cornerstone's mini libraries. Our other two are on the floors of our single adult programs. We have a number of different volunteers who keeps tabs on the most in-demand genres and regularly restock our bookshelves!

We've had some amazing interns working with us this past year, each of whom met a major milestone in their programs this spring. Represented here are students from DePaul University , Loyola University Chicago , and Aurora University !

It’s Tuesday, and we are just feeling so incredibly grateful. 💛

To every volunteer who shows up early, every donor who drops off supplies, and every neighbor who shares a smile with us—thank you. Cornerstone Community Outreach doesn't run on just programs; it runs on people like you who care deeply about this city and the people in it.

We couldn't do this without you.
