☀🎶 Chopin Park Advisory Council is hosting their first Summer Fest on Saturday, June 27, from 12 to 8pm, at Chopin Park, 3420 N Long Ave. It will be a fun day filled with live music from 7 bands, 80+ food and goods vendors, a Kids Zone featuring multiple inflatables, and a beer garden hosted by Rockwell’s Neighborhood Grill.

Join Chicago Women in Trades for their Summer Open House next week!

These in-person informational sessions are for aspiring tradeswomen wanting to learn more about free pre-apprenticeship programs. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Chicago Women in Trades (CWIT) staff and instructors and hear about the day-to-day experiences of women working in the trades.

🏀 On Saturday, June 13, The Miracle Center- "Where Dreams Become a Reality." is hosting The Miracle Madness Basketball Tournament, a community fundraising event dedicated to furthering their mission of transforming lives through the creative arts, mentorship, workforce development, and community engagement initiatives throughout Chicago.

The event will feature a full basketball tournament, alongside local vendors, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and a live stream of the tournament taking place in the gymnasium throughout the day.

🏀 El sábado 13 de junio, el Miracle Center organiza el torneo de baloncesto The Miracle Madness, un evento comunitario de recaudación de fondos dedicado a promover su misión de transformar vidas a través de las artes creativas, la mentoría, el desarrollo laboral y las iniciativas de participación comunitaria en toda la ciudad de Chicago.

El evento contará con un torneo completo de baloncesto, además de puestos de vendedores locales, food trucks, actividades para toda la familia y una transmisión en vivo del torneo que se llevará a cabo en el gimnasio durante todo el día.
