This morning, TRP joined faith leaders, workers, advocates, and community partners from across Chicago at the ARISE Chicago Faith-Labor-Action Breakfast.

Yesterday marked 14 years since DACA was created. And it has been under constant threat ever since.

At a congressional field hearing led by Rep. Delia Ramirez, TRP’s Deportation Defense Organizer Jocelyn Aranda-Ortiz joined advocates and community members to speak out against the racist attacks targeting our neighbors, co-workers, friends, and family.

DACA opened doors, but DREAMers are still waiting for the permanent solution they were promised, while the Trump administration moves to strip away every protection they have left. We’re not waiting in silence. We’re organizing, testifying, and fighting for citizenship for all.
