There's less than a week left to apply for the ISBE's 2026-27 Student Advisory Council (SAC)!
This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders, policymakers, and community partners to influence education policy from a student perspective.
As a council member, you'll enhance your advocacy and leadership skills while making your voice heard on critical issues in education.
Eligibility: Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior at a public or charter high school in Illinois.

Today was all about honoring, celebrating, and supporting Black and LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs in the 9TH District!
From 10am-3pm, the Illinois Room at 555 W. Monroe opened its doors, bridging the gap of Juneteenth and Pride Month.
Our office was proud to participate in this Illinois State Board of Education Vendor Fair celebrating and uplifting Black-owned and LGBTQIA+ businesses!
