“The reality is that skyrocketing energy supply costs are the driver of higher customer bills. We know that 75% of bill increases are the result of supply costs, however, supply is increasingly limited,” said Exelon President and CEO Calvin Butler during a keynote at the Reuters' Global Energy Forum 2026.
We know that customers are feeling the weight of rising energy costs, and we know how important it is to find solutions that make a real difference.
While we don’t control supply costs, we’re focused on where we can act: expanding energy supply, supporting customers in the near term and advocating for long-term protections.
That’s the focus of The Exelon Promise — our commitment to help ease the burden on customers’ bills while continuing to deliver the safe, reliable service they depend on. Learn more about how we’re helping customers: http://spr.ly/6187BDjx4c

The wait is finally over! The 2026 STEM Academy and Boys to STEM Academy programs are officially underway.
Every summer, we welcome hundreds of students to these week-long programs where they collaborate on real-world energy challenges, connect with industry leaders and mentors, attend site visits, participate in professional development sessions and gain the skills to pursue a career in STEM.
We’re starting in Chicago, with programs to follow in our service areas of Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia. We cannot wait to see what these young innovators accomplish!

When large new power users, like data centers, plan to connect to the grid, we have to make sure the system is ready to meet that demand. But that additional growth shouldn’t add new costs or risks for the families and small businesses who already rely on that energy.
That’s why we pioneered Transmission Security Agreements (TSAs), a customer protection that requires large new power users make firm financial commitments and pay their fair share. Since the grid is shared, TSAs help protect everyday customers if projects change or don’t move forward.
It’s just one way we’re supporting growth while helping keep costs fair for the communities we serve. Learn more about TSAs: http://spr.ly/6184BDP63a
