See what great services we offer Land of Lincoln consumers!

Since its inception in 1984, the Citizens Utility Board has been blocking rate hikes and fighting for consumer protections and better service from the state’s investor-owned electric, gas and telephone companies. Since 1984, CUB has helped save Illinois consumers more than $10 billion by blocking rate hikes, winning refunds, cutting phone bills, and fighting for consumer protections in Springfield.

Ivonne and Karen from CUB helped Guadalupe, a 92-year-old woman, get off a bad alternative supplier deal, and then get a $1,553 refund! “I am very, very grateful for what they have done for us,” said Guadalupe’s daughter, Elizabeth, referring to Ivonne and Karen. “It’s sad how [dishonest alternative suppliers] deceive seniors, especially those of us who don’t speak English. That’s what happened to my mom.” Many thanks to Ivonne and Karen from CUB for the great work! Read the story: https://buff.ly/Tvv8C4B
