Huge shoutout to the students who went to the White Sox game yesterday! It sounds like everyone had an absolute blast, and the Sox pulling off a win was the perfect way to finish the day. Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month is celebrated in May to honor the profound impact, cultural diversity, and historical contributions of AAPI communities in the United States. It serves to recognize their role in building the nation, challenge stereotypes, and highlight their ongoing influence in arts, business, and public service. At Hancock, we have served students whose lineage can be traced back to China, the Philippines, Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Pakistan, and many more. On Tuesday, May 19 during ACLAB, come celebrate the contributions Asian/ Pacific Islanders have made to enrich the culture of America by participating in the AAPI Celebration Fair!
