Healing from trafficking isn't a solo journey — and neither is the work of supporting survivors. Our volunteers show up week after week, building the kind of consistent, caring presence that makes holistic healing possible.
To every volunteer who has walked alongside a survivor: thank you. You are not just filling a role. You are part of something that matters deeply.
If you feel called to join this community of support, visit streets.org to learn more about walking alongside male survivors at Emmaus.

Because of donors like you, no one has to face shame, guilt, or pain without someone beside them. This Pride, we're reminded that community is the work — and you make it possible. Thank you for walking with us. 💙🩵💚💛🤎

Yesterday we welcomed Atlas Free to our Survivor Support Center alongside social service organizations from across the Chicagoland area to preview Waypoint, their new app helping survivors connect to the services and supports they need.
This is what collaborative advocacy looks like. When organizations share tools, knowledge, and vision, survivors have a stronger network to lean on.
Thank you, Atlas Free, and to every organization committed to walking alongside survivors.

He wasn't looking for us when we found him.
He was doing what he'd always done — surviving, quietly, the way he'd learned since he was young. Our outreach team met him where he was. No pressure. Just presence.
That's where the story begins. Join the journey at streets.org/give-online today.

Hope begins with consistency, which is why here at Emmaus, we are dedicated to hitting the streets. Men all over this city deserve to know their stories matter and we see them. If you would like to join us, reach out to [email protected], or RSVP to any of the outreach events on our page. Visit streets.org for more information about how you can walk alongside survivors on the road to freedom.
