Welcome, Ms. Coryea! We can’t wait to see the great things you do as CMS/CHS Band Director!
“Hello, Cadet families, My name is Grace Coryea, and I am absolutely thrilled to be the Band Director at Cascade Middle School and High School!
As a recent graduate of Indiana State University, my goal is to create a safe and welcoming classroom where every student feels valued, supported, and encouraged to grow as a musician and individual.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy composing music and spending time with my family. I am excited to get to know all of you and look forward to a fantastic school year together!
Go Cadets!”

That’s a wrap on the 2025-2026 school year!
Thank you to our incredible students, staff, families, and community for making this such a memorable and successful year. From academic achievements and athletic success to fine arts, clubs, and everyday moments in our classrooms, there is so much to celebrate across our district.
We are proud of all that our students accomplished this year and grateful for the dedication and support of everyone who helped make it possible.
While summer break officially begins today, we still have one more special celebration ahead of us. We hope to see everyone Saturday at 10:00 AM as we celebrate the Cascade High School Class of 2026 at graduation!
Have a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved summer break, Cadets, Eagles, and Wildcats!

Over the past year, the PACE class has worked alongside the Hendricks County Historical Museum to transcribe, digitize, and research authentic Civil War letters. Last night, the class shared what they learned about the soldiers who wrote these letters over 160 years ago. Check out the photos from our presentations below, and if you couldn't make it or want to dive deeper into the 30 letters now preserved in our archive, you can explore our full class website here: https://sites.google.com/mccsc.k12.in.us/cms-civil-war-archive/home
