Meet Jon Marthedal of Marthedal Farms—a true testament to dedication, innovation, and family legacy in agriculture.

Born and raised on land that has been in his family for over 120 years, Jon began his farming journey at just 16 years old when he rented his first vineyard in 1972. Since then, he’s built a remarkable career rooted in hard work and forward thinking.

Jon is especially proud of expanding his operation, being one of the first to grow blueberries in California, and most importantly, bringing the next generation into the business.

When he’s not in the field, Jon enjoys spending time on California’s beautiful Central Coast, hunting, and staying actively involved in industry boards and organizations.

Thank you, Jon, for your leadership and lifelong commitment to agriculture!
