We are excited to welcome six new firefighters to our department!
These firefighters have just completed the first week of a two-week academy focused on developing the skills and knowledge needed to serve our community at the highest level. Throughout the program, they receive hands-on training in both fire suppression and EMS operations.
During their training, they are learning critical initial-response skills, including rapid bunker gear deployment, hose line advancement, water supply operations, ladder raises, basic EMS procedures, and much more.
We are proud of the hard work and dedication these recruits have shown so far and look forward to watching them continue to grow as they prepare to serve our citizens. Week 2 starts tomorrow!🔥🚒🚑

🚒🔥 Kids Fire Camp 2026 🔥🚒
This week, the Colleyville Fire Department is proud to host 30 campers, ages 9-14, at our annual Kids Fire Camp!
Throughout the week, campers will get an inside look at the fire service through hands-on activities, fire safety education, emergency preparedness training, team-building exercises, and plenty of opportunities to work alongside our firefighters. From learning about our apparatus and equipment to experiencing some of the skills firefighters use every day, these young participants are getting a firsthand look at what it takes to serve and protect a community.
Kids Fire Camp is one of our favorite traditions because it allows us to connect with local families, promote fire and life safety, and hopefully inspire a few future firefighters along the way.
A huge thank you to our firefighters and staff who volunteer their time and energy to make this program possible. We look forward to a great week of learning, fun, and unforgettable experiences!
