Fostering Hope enlists volunteers and the greater community to support children in foster care and the families who care for them.

Our goal is to provide stability, enrichment and connections from childhood to early adulthood.

Sometimes the most powerful support is consistency.

Showing up again.
Checking in again.
Listening again.
Staying when things get hard.

For many children, foster parents, and young adults, dependable relationships can make all the difference.

Because trust is often built one ordinary moment at a time.

We often celebrate the big milestones:
graduations, new jobs, finalized adoptions, big accomplishments.

But growth also happens in the quieter spaces.

In the conversations after hard days.
In the routines that build stability.
In the people who stay consistent along the way.

Those moments may not make headlines —
but they help build the foundation for everything that comes next.

Some of the most meaningful things happen quietly.

A foster parent tries again after a difficult day.
A volunteer rearranges their schedule for afterschool care.
A young adult chooses to trust someone for the first time.

No spotlight.
No applause.
Just people continuing to show up for one another.

That quiet kind of faithfulness matters more than words can say.

Not every important moment looks important at first.

Sometimes it’s:
a story before bedtime,
a meal dropped off after a long week,
or someone remembering to check in.

Support isn’t only about getting through crises or celebrating milestones.

It’s also about creating ordinary days that feel steady, safe, and predictable.

And those ordinary days can change everything.

Most of life happens in the in between.

Between court dates.
Between school years.
Between hard seasons and hopeful ones.

And in those spaces, support matters most.

That’s where volunteers show up.
That’s where trust begins to grow.
That’s where healing quietly takes root.

At Fostering Hope, we’re grateful for the foster parents and volunteers who continue showing up—not just for the milestones, but for all the moments in between.

This is what progress can look like.

She’s quiet and determined—like the time she borrowed kitchen items from the library just so she could cook a special meal for her two daughters.

Over the past year, she’s worked toward her CNA license while holding a steady job. For the first time in two years, she paid her rent on her own. That's when she shared, “I’m 28, and I feel like an adult now.”

Her journey is a powerful reminder that steady, quiet progress matters—and that community makes all the difference.

There’s something really meaningful about this time of year.

To every student connected to Fostering Hope who is graduating or earning their GED this year—we are so proud of you! This moment represents so much hard work, resilience, and determination.

While only about 50–60% of youth in foster care graduate nationally, the students supported through Fostering Hope are changing that story. Every student who has walked with us—supported by their faithful foster parents—has crossed the finish line, earning a diploma or GED. This allows them to step into what’s next with hope and support behind them.

To our graduates: this milestone is yours. We’re celebrating you today and cheering you on for everything ahead.

And special thanks to Alyssa for offering her talents and providing beautiful senior photos to our graduates this year!

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

We are deeply grateful for their courage, their service, and the families who carry their legacy forward.

Today, we remember—and we give thanks.

This is what progress can look like.

She’s quiet and determined—the kind of person who finds a way, like checking kitchen items out from the library just to cook a special meal.

Over the past year, she’s worked toward her CNA license while holding a steady job. Recently, she shared, “I’m 28 and finally feel like an adult now.” For the first time in two years, she paid her rent on her own.

Her journey is a powerful reminder that steady, quiet progress matters—and that community makes all the difference.
