Legacy of Liberty: Double Your Impact ๐บ๐ธ
This is a milestone year:
๐บ๐ธ 250 years of the United States
๐๏ธ 150 years of Colorado
๐๏ธ 10 years of serving veterans at Mt. Carmel
To honor these legacies, weโre launching our Legacy of Liberty Campaign, and right now, your support goes even further.
Thanks to the generous Ventimiglia Family Foundation, every dollar donated will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to a total of $10,000 until the end of July!
๐ That means your gift today can have twice the impact until the $10,000 match is reached.
Together, we can continue building a strong future for the veterans, service members, and families who call this community home.
Make your impact count.

Want to learn more about the book?:
The CARE Method: Military Series is a trauma-informed domestic violence intervention curriculum developed specifically for active-duty service members and veterans. Rooted in the Risk-Need-Responsivity (RNR) Model and informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and person-centered counseling principles, the curriculum is designed to promote meaningful accountability, personal insight, and long-lasting behavioral change.
Unlike traditional one-size-fits-all approaches, The CARE Method recognizes the unique culture, experiences, and stressors associated with military service, including deployment, transition, trauma exposure, identity, and family reintegration. The curriculum utilizes a non-shaming, evidence-informed approach that engages participants while maintaining a clear focus on accountability, victim safety, and healthy relationship functioning.
The Military Series aims to improve intervention outcomes by addressing the underlying factors that contribute to abusive behavior, strengthening emotional regulation, communication, and decision-making skills, and supporting service members and veterans in creating healthier relationships and stronger families.

Today, we recognize and celebrate the strength, courage, and sacrifice of the women who have served our nation in uniform.
From those who paved the way decades ago to those continuing the mission today, women veterans have played a vital role in defending our freedom and shaping our military history. Their service didnโt always get the recognition it deserved, but today, we proudly say: we see you, we thank you, and we honor you.
At Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center, we are grateful to support the incredible women in our community who have served. Your leadership, resilience, and commitment inspire us every day.
To all women veterans, past and present, thank you for your service and the example you set for future generations.
