✈️ Big news for Colorado Springs
Colorado Springs Airport just secured another $7.5 million in federal funding for its ElevateCOS terminal upgrades, bringing the total to $27.5 million so far.
What does that mean for travelers?
• Bigger gate areas
• Better restrooms
• Improved accessibility
• Energy‑efficient upgrades
• More family‑friendly spaces
And here’s the best part: no local tax dollars are being used.
As COS continues to grow, these improvements will make flying easier, faster, and more comfortable for everyone in the Pikes Peak region.
When you travel, do you prefer flying out of DIA or COS?

Swipe to see creativity cruising at 30,000 feet. Yesterday, travelers checked out “Inflight Dining- In Consideration of the Airline Meal”, our second art installation in our Art at COS gallery area. We loved engaging with travelers, showing off this space, and offering snacks from our favorite airlines to passengers taking off for the holiday weekend. ✈️🎨
📍This installation is on display now through July at the Colorado Springs Airport. Want to learn more or submit art for our next show? Link in the comments 👇
