More moments from Office on Aging Day with the Columbus Clippers. 💙

From the stands to the vendor tables, older adults, caregivers, staff and community partners helped make the day one to remember. Thank you to everyone who joined us at Huntington Park and helped celebrate connection, community and aging well in Franklin County.

Director Wingo recently joined the Rick & Reese Show for a meaningful conversation about the Franklin County Office on Aging and the services available to older adults, caregivers and families across Franklin County.

During the conversation, Director Wingo shared one of her favorite stories from FCOA’s caregiver support program. A mother wanted to travel to California to watch her daughter graduate and walk across the stage, but she was also caring for her own mother and needed support to make the trip possible.

Through the Franklin County Office on Aging, care was provided for her mother, allowing her to fly to California and be there for her daughter’s special moment.

Stories like this reflect the heart of our work: connecting residents and families with support that helps them move through life’s most meaningful moments with dignity, care and peace of mind.

Thank you to Rick and Reese for creating space for this important conversation and helping share the work being done to support older adults, caregivers and families throughout Franklin County.

We look forward to more conversations and collaborations with Rick and Reese down the road. Stay tuned!
