🎉 It was an honor to welcome and recognize Miss Ohio 2025, Olivia Fosson, on the Ohio House floor! Alongside State Representative Jason Stephens, I was proud to present a resolution celebrating Olivia’s achievements, leadership, and service to our state. As a fellow Miss Ohio, it was especially meaningful to recognize a young woman who is inspiring others through her advocacy, academic excellence, and commitment to making a difference.

Congratulations, Olivia, and thank you for representing Ohio with grace and distinction!

🐝 Good policy often starts with listening to constituents. After hearing concerns from local beekeepers in my district and visiting an apiary firsthand, I introduced House Bill 911 to help protect Ohio’s commercial beekeeping industry, promote compliance with existing law, and support healthy bee colonies.

Ohio’s beekeepers are vital to our agriculture industry, and this legislation helps ensure they can continue to thrive. It’s creating quite a buzz for a good cause! 🍯

It was an honor to provide sponsor testimony in the House Judiciary Committee on Trey’s Law alongside Rep. Roy Klopfenstein. This important legislation (HB 723) strengthens protections for survivors of sexual abuse by ensuring perpetrators can never use nondisclosure agreements to silence victims and shield abuse from accountability. Survivors deserve justice, healing, and the freedom to tell their story.

BIG news for Ohio tourism! 🎉

This week, the Ohio House passed House Bill 732 — creating the new “Ohio, The Heart of It All Pass” Program! This first-of-its-kind statewide pass will help Ohioans and visitors explore Ohio’s incredible attractions, arts, culture, history, parks, entertainment, and local communities while supporting jobs and small businesses across our state.

Even more exciting — the pass will be offered as a FREE gift to Ohioans in 2026 as we celebrate America’s 250th Birthday! 🇺🇸❤️

Now it’s time for the Ohio Senate to move quickly and help us bring this exciting opportunity to life for families and communities across Ohio!

Every Ohioan deserves to feel safe in their own home. I’m proud to introduce the Ohio Safe Homes Act with Rep. Michele Grim — bipartisan legislation that gives victims of domestic violence and sexual violence a path to leave dangerous living situations without facing financial penalties.

This bill is about protecting survivors, empowering them to seek safety, and ensuring Ohio law stands with victims — not abusers. 💜
