We want kids to be SAFE and SEEN this Summer. Thanks to our friends Sunny 95 for hosting the first Summer Block Party of the season in Upper Arlington. If you see FCCS in your neighborhood, ask about our free reflective gear and safety pledge to have a safer summer, especially when the sun goes down.
Summer is when childhood hunger is often highest. That's why FCCS is extending its vital partnership with Children’s Hunger Alliance to help more families secure consistent access to nutritious food. Severe food insecurity creates intense stress that can quickly push vulnerable families into crisis, increasing the risk of instability that can lead to child welfare involvement. Our partnership with CHA is key to early intervention, family preservation, and the long-term well-being of Franklin County youth.

Central Ohio Chapter for the Trailblazer Honors and Scholarship Awards. Always impressive and inspiring to celebrate the honorees who are truly blazing a trail and leaving a lasting mark in our community.
In honor of Mother's Day, Franklin County Children Services recognizes a special investment in efforts to empower moms throughout our community. We partner with Action for Children’s transformative Mothers Matter program to help more moms with personalized coaching, breaking down barriers, and building roadmaps for successful, thriving family life.

Celebrating the “reel” impacts of mentors and caring adults at the 42nd Annual FCCS Volunteer Reception. This year’s “Short Stories, Reel Impact” animated movie theme celebrated the conversations, check-ins, and small acts of consistency by our volunteers and mentors that may seem simple but carry lasting impacts in the lives of the young people in our care.

Pinwheels planted and powered by hope. Team FCCS and The Center for Healthy Families together with friends, families, and caring community advocates planted hundreds of pinwheels at City Hall as part of National Child Abuse Prevention Month… and it’s the power of HOPE that has them spinning.
