Tonight is the perfect night to kick off our 2026 Movies Under the Stars season at the Abbey.

Join us for The Big Night and enjoy a classic film in one of Columbus’ most unique settings. Arrive early for wine by the glass or bottle, stop by the tasting table to order bottles for home delivery, and grab dinner from the food truck before the movie begins at dusk.

Step behind the scenes of a fascinating stained glass restoration project and discover the artistry that brings historic windows back to life.

Join us on Saturday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to Noon for a special program led by stained-glass artisan Cole Moffatt, owner of Steelton Glass Company. See the restoration of original stained glass windows from The Abbey Mausoleum in progress and learn about the challenges, techniques, and rewards of preserving these century-old treasures.

The experience continues with a guided visit to The Abbey Mausoleum & Gardens, where you'll tour the historic building, admire beautifully restored stained glass windows, and hear about future restoration plans.

We are offering US flags or Ohio flags to create our "Field of Flags". A nice way to honor someone entombed in the Abbey or a deceased loved one buried far away. Flags will be tagged with your loved one's name. You can bring the flag with you when you depart, or we would be happy to send you a picture of the flag if you cannot attend. Flags are only $20.

TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT for the kickoff of the first evening of TALES FROM THE CRYPT! We put out the firepit for you to gather around before and after the program to share YOUR stories. Tickets still available. You can get them on-line until about 4pm. After that, come directly to the Abbey and get tickets at the door.
