FHS students and Mrs. Moody had the opportunity to attend โA Conversation with Governor Mike DeWineโ, hosted by the Columbus Metropolitan Club at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum.
Students engaged in thoughtful discussion with Mike DeWine, gaining insight into state leadership and public service. Experiences like this give our students a front-row seat to government in action.
Proud of the way they represented FHS with curiosity and professionalism.

We have lots to celebrate this week! ๐
Monday: Arrive at FHS by 8:45 AM. You must have a signed permission slip to go on the field trip, which you were given last week if you qualify for the field trip.
Tuesday: You don't want to miss the annual cookout and Staff vs. Student Basketball Game!
Wednesday: Lots of fun activities planned to celebrate the end of a successful school year!
Thursday: All FHS students are invited to attend the Class of 2026 Graduation at National Veterans Memorial & Museum. Graduation Ceremony begins at 10 AM.

FHS students had the opportunity to sit down with Dontavius Jarrells (Ohio State Representative, District 1) for a thoughtful conversation about leadership, public service, and civic engagement.
Students asked insightful questions, shared their perspectives, and gained a firsthand look at how state government works and how elected officials serve their communities.
Experiences like this help bring government and civics to life. Proud of our students for showing up prepared and engaged!
