Also known as Freedom Day, the holiday represents a time to gather with family and community and celebrate the ending of slavery in the United States, a historical significance in the African American heritage and culture.

🐅Take networking to the wild side! This interactive experience will give attendees the chance to meet animal ambassadors up close, learn about their habitats, and discover more about the conservation efforts supported by the Zoo.

The event also includes photo opportunities, time to connect with colleagues, and a group lunch at noon following the animal ambassador presentation.
