What happens when shelter dogs and sheriff's deputies train side by side?

We are so proud of this incredible partnership with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office & FCSO Crisis K9 Unit. Daisy and Obi’s journey is proof that second chances can lead to extraordinary, life-changing opportunities.

He's handsome, adventurous, and looking for a family of his own. Meet Onyx! 🖤

A few things his foster family loves about him:
✅ Potty trained and crate trained
✅ Sleeps through the night
✅ Has done great meeting new people and other dogs
✅ Knows sit, down, paw, and speak, and is currently learning touch
✅ Loves adventures, exercise, mental enrichment, and cuddling up afterward

Abigail is back at the shelter through no fault of her own. 💔

She recently went home with a family who absolutely loved her. They told us she was housebroken, crate trained, could be left alone, and did amazing with everyone she met, including young children.

Unfortunately, they discovered their daughter was allergic to her. We know that couldn't have been an easy decision, and our hearts go out to them.

The good news? Abigail got glowing reviews. She showed everyone exactly what we've been saying all along: she's a sweet, easygoing dog who is more than ready for a home.

Now she just needs to find the right one. ❤️

Here’s to hoping 🍯🐝

4 month old Leo CAN’T STOP listening to the new Olivia Rodrigo album while he waits for his forever home!

Is his face one you could spend your whole life knowing?

While we are closed today in observance of Juneteenth, come to the shelter to meet Leo first thing tomorrow! 💜
