AOS's Marissa Marzick and Matt Klapheke accepted the National State Auditors Association's 2026 Excellence in Accountability Award for the special audit of the Columbus Zoo, which led to criminal convictions and prison sentences for top executives involved in the $2.3M theft.

Auditor Faber visited Akron Children's Hospital to discuss community health with hospital leaders and learn more about this 130-year-old institution and how it serves young Ohioans and their families.

Auditor Faber is testifying before the House Medicaid Committee today on protecting taxpayer dollars in public benefit programs from fraud, waste, and abuse. Our recent state audit found up to $4.4 billion in unsupported payments: ohioauditor.gov.
