AOS's Marissa Marzick and Matt Klapheke accepted the National State Auditors Association's 2026 Excellence in Accountability Award for the special audit of the Columbus Zoo, which led to criminal convictions and prison sentences for top executives involved in the $2.3M theft.

Five Medicaid public interest audits found nearly $1.9 billion in improper, unsupported, or potentially misspent Medicaid payments. AOS will continue advocating for better controls so these funds are going to those who need them most.
