Ohio's energy assistance programs are now administered by Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, this includes the upcoming HEAP Summer Crisis Program that starts July 1. Documentation such as application forms received in the mail will now be from Ohio Department of Job and Family services, this is correct and not a scam.
The application process is the same, and local energy assistance providers have not changed.
