Congratulations to Cuyahoga County on its Best in Category - Financial Management recognition in the 2026 NACo Achievement Awards! Cuyahoga County was awarded for its Taxpayer Assistance Program (TAP) that aids in the growing issue of senior homeowners struggling to keep their homes by helping seniors manage their tax burden and supporting them with financial counseling to develop a plan for long-term home stability.

Thank you Ottawa County for hosting today’s CCAO/CEAO Northwest Region meeting! In addition to policy and business updates, featured speakers educated attendees on tourism initiatives and the provision of county services on Lake Erie islands.

CORSA held Corrections Division Training regional meetings last week in Allen, Medina, Muskingum, and Clinton counties. The turnout was outstanding. We had a total of 178 participants across the four locations, reflecting strong engagement and commitment from our member agencies.

Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, and helped make these regional trainings a success. Your participation strengthens our collective efforts and supports safer, more effective correctional operations across Ohio.

CEBCO is pleased to welcome Kevin Williams as the new Managing Director, Health and Wellness.

“Kevin joins CEBCO at an important time for county employee health benefits and wellness initiatives,” said Executive Director Cheryl Subler. “His leadership, expertise, and passion for service position him well to guide CEBCO into its next chapter. Kevin brings a unique perspective to this role, having served on both the advisory committee that helped set up the program more than 20 years ago and on the CEBCO Board of Directors.”

Prior to joining CEBCO, Williams spent 19 years as a human resources executive with Columbus Public Health and 16 years with the Delaware County Board of Commissioners in various human resources roles.
