1 in 4 girls. 1 in 13 boys. Child s*xual abuse is more common than most people realize — and summer is one of the highest-risk seasons.

Summer brings longer days, looser schedules, and more time with extended family. It also brings less structure, less supervision, and more one-on-one adult access to children.

We're sharing information on abuse to equip you to prevent it. Parents and caregivers who know this information have the power to make our community safer for every child.

Share this post with a parent, coach, or caregiver who should follow along this summer.
