We are always happy to help guide our clients through applications. Helping our families access resources by walking them applications like charity newsies is one of the many things we do at US Together!

When arranging events for our clients a lot comes to mind. An important part of our praxis is encouraging women to become involved. When we do teaching events like financial literacy we try to make sure both of the adults in the family attend. Increasing accessibility to education and uplifting women is an important part of what we do. A lot of our clients have responsibilities they can’t put down which is why we meet them where they’re at; by providing childcare and access to transportation, we hope they will feel empowered to go to events and pop continue learning.

We were so excited to have Fifth Third Bank host a meeting about financial literacy for our clients last week! It was a full house which led to a wonderful discussion. Everyone was engaged and learned a lot. Many thanks to Asja Farmer for coordinating this talk and everyone who came to our office!

Had a great time participating in Westmoor Middle School Multicultural Night yesterday! We loved having the chance to participate in a local community event and share resources.

We are so excited to share that one of our founders and directors, Nadia Kasvin is going to be on WOSU’s series “INSIDE: Reshaping Work Examining How Central Ohio’s Workforce is Evolving” on a townhall panel next week airing May 12th at 8pm EST! We loved getting to table at One Columbus Cultural Day last Friday! Thanks to the City of Columbus Department of Neighbors New American Program and North YMCA for running and hosting this event.

We are thrilled to announce that Nadia Kasvin, one of our founders has received the 2026 Franklin County Commissioner John O’Grady Resiliency Award. Thank you to we are honored for her work and achievements to be recognized.
