Today we recognize June 19, 1865. This is the day that freedom finally reached enslaved people in Texas, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. MORPC offices will be closed in respect to the holiday.

This summer get outside and get active by exploring our waterways! There are more than 100 miles of water to paddle along the Alum Creek, Big Darby Creek, Big Walnut Creek, Olentangy River, and Scioto River within Delaware, Franklin, and Pickaway counties. Crews break ground in Grove City on first of more than 80 LinkUs pedestrian projects The Hoover Road bridge over I-71 will get wider walkways on both sides of the road, making it easier for bikes and pedestrians. It's one of more than 80 projects that will get funding from LinkUs.
