Our staff participated in STEM professional development this morning at WM Irvin and then took a tour of the DLT3 Amazon Delivery Station in Concord.
Touring the center provided valuable insight into how STEM applies to real-world operations. We also learned about the automated systems, logistics processes, and identified the connections between classroom learning and future career opportunities. We loved getting to see the behind the scenes look at how the conveyor systems, scanners, robotics, and sorting processes work!
Thank you to the site manager, Chris Schweigel, for making this possible and giving us the tour!

Did you know that our school is named after William Morris Irvin? Every year his family provides ice cream for our whole school! This ice cream social has been going on for over 20 years. Thank you to the Irvin family for continuing this tradition. We are thankful for a close tie to our school's namesake!
