Huge thank you to for awarding The Place with a grant to support our Mobile Food Pantry program!

This program allows us to meet people where they are to provide food assistance multiple times a month. Thank you for partnering with us to make this possible in Forsyth and Dawson counties.

We think our colors look pretty good up there!

"My kids are home from school, and we have nothing to eat."

This is a call we received from a local mother.

No child should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from. Yet during summer break, many children lose access to the meals they rely on at school and may be missing up to 10 meals each week.

Our mission this summer is to help bridge that gap and ensure families in our community have the food they need.

There are a few ways you can help:

• You can help by supporting our Summer Feeding Campaign. Every $1 donated allows us to purchase $13 worth of food, multiplying your impact and helping us reach more children and families.

• Host a food drive. They make a great group project for schools, youth organizations, workplaces, clubs, and community groups.

• Shop our Amazon Wishlist in the link 🔗 in our bio.

Help us close the circle and reach our goal to feed hope all summer long. ❤️

☀️ Bring a little sunshine into the lives of kids this month with our June Heart of Service project!

It’s as easy as 1-2-3:
1. Purchase activity-based items for kids.
Some ideas: bubbles, sidewalk chalk, frisbee, puzzles, art kits.
2. Pack all of your items into a large ziploc bag.
3. Drop off your bag (s) at either location to brighten a child’s day!

This is a great way to let kids feel the love this summer during break! We’ll be accepting Summer Break Sunshine Bags throughout the month of June.
