League of Women Voters Condemns Passage of Reconciliation Package Expanding Unchecked Immigration Enforcement Funding | League of Women Voters The League of Women Voters issued the following statement on Congressional passage of funding for immigration enforcement agencies:

Texas families your voice is needed RIGHT NOW.

The state is rewriting social studies standards that will shape what students learn for the next 10 years. The new drafts leave out the contributions of women, indigenous peoples, and people of color, and were written with almost no input from actual Texas teachers.

Public comments are open through June 15 and every single comment is shared with State Board of Education members. You can comment anonymously, or add your name for even more impact.
