At last nights board meeting, we recognized Sgt. Gilly Romero with an officer commendation for his service and dedication to safety at Cypress Woods High School. This commendation recognized Sgt. Romero for exceptional service and performance that goes above and beyond the standard call of duty.

Last night was an exciting night as we swore in two new officers during the police academy graduation ceremony in Montgomery County. Please welcome Officer Perla Chadis and Officer Isaiah Romero. Welcome to CFPD!

Wow! We can’t believe this week of JPA is coming to an end. The kids are on the bus to go and have a little fun at Andretti’s. They have certainly earned it.

What a special treat for the JPA class today. Our friends at the Texas Department of Public Safety gave the cadets the opportunity to see one of their helicopters. 🚁

We are off and running at JPA this week, taking place at Rowe Middle School. So far, the students have learned crime scene, defensive tactics, tourniquet application, and received a first-hand look at a SWAT vehicle. In their downtime, they even managed to play a little dodgeball and basketball.
