Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there, and especially to my dad — your guidance and example have shaped who I am today. I love you, Dad!

Had a great time at the annual Taste of Black Mansfield, hosted by the Alpha Beta Phi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
I was also honored to receive the Most Valuable Partner Award from the chapter, recognizing our years of work together. Looking forward to continuing this partnership as we serve our community!

Spent the morning knocking doors for Brittany Black, who is running for State Representative in Collin County.
She’s a leader who will fight to lower costs, fully fund our public schools, and expand access to healthcare.
If you live in TX House District 61 — Frisco, McKinney, and surrounding cities — she’ll be on your ballot this November!

Truly enjoyed attending the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Iota Mu Sigma Chapter’s Sigma Beta Club End of Year & Senior Recognition Banquet this evening — celebrating a wonderful group of young men as they close out the year.
Special thanks to the chapter for honoring me with the 2026 Social Action Award. This recognition means a great deal, and I remain grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside such great community leaders.

Always a pleasure connecting with my friends within the Muslim Democratic Caucus. Yesterday we had a great conversation about what we’re working toward together—from the November elections to the priorities and goals we have in the 90th legislative session come January.

Yesterday was a good day. I had the privilege of donating three bikes to students at the Celestial Church of Christ – Holy Cross Parish’s Children Harvest Event.
For a lot of young people, a bike isn’t just a gift — it’s a way to get to school on time, pick up a shift, and build independence.
I was grateful to play a small part in that.
