Reminder: The Friends Summer Book Sale is this Saturday starting at 11:00am! We'll have wide selection of Adult Fiction, Nonfiction, Cookbooks, Kids Books, Young Adult, and more.

The book sale will be at the University Park Public Library (9393 Preston Center Plaza, Dallas, TX 75225).

$5 Adult Books, $4 Kids Books (3 for $10), and $10 Coffee Table Books!

As we wrap up another wonderful season of Meet Me at the Library, we want to extend a special thank-you to Complete Landsculpture for sponsoring our spring series. Their support helped make a season of engaging programs, inspiring speakers, and meaningful community connection possible at the University Park Public Library. Last month, we had the pleasure of hosting a special reception honoring our past presidents. It was a wonderful afternoon celebrating the lasting impact these individuals have had on The Friends and our library community. We shared updates on current programs, initiatives, and future goals before giving guests a tour of the library. We’re incredibly grateful for the volunteers, leaders, and supporters who continue to help strengthen and support the University Park Public Library for generations to come.

We are a week and a half into our 10 week journey through Larry McMurtry’s Lonesome Dove, but it is not too late to join the drive! 🤠
