We had a wonderful time at our Community Impact Celebration, honoring the individuals and organizations whose dedication helps JFS Dallas provide support at every turn!

From volunteers and community partners to donors and board members, thank you to all those who make our work possible every day by showing up and giving back.

Congratulations to this year’s honorees and thank you to everyone who joined us for a memorable evening.

It takes a special community partner to say yes to every challenge we bring their way, and the team at Susser Bank always shows up ready to support JFS Dallas and the people we serve.

This time, we put their teamwork to the test at the Game Show Battle Room, and they definitely rose to the occasion (and took home the win)!

Today, we join communities around the world in honoring the courage, resilience, and enduring legacy of Holocaust survivors.

As part of this meaningful day, survivors in our care will gather next week for “The Music That Was Saved,” a special musical program celebrating music created by Holocaust survivors and their descendants while honoring the lasting impact of their stories across generations.

This gathering is made possible through the support of the Seed the Dream Foundation and KAVOD SHEF, in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas.

We are grateful for the opportunity to honor the survivors in our community and celebrate the lives they rebuilt after unimaginable loss.

By turning a vision for service into meaningful action, Temple Shalom has helped bring fresh food, care, and dignity to families served by the JFS Dallas Food Pantry. We’re proud to recognize Temple Shalom as our 2025 Community Partner Award recipient at this year’s Community Impact Celebration!

As a JFS Dallas board member, Michael dedicated countless hours of expertise and support throughout the process of purchasing and renovating our new building. His leadership has helped expand access to care for our community. We’re proud to recognize Michael Saks as our 2025 Leadership Award recipient at this year’s Community Impact Celebration!

Patty Traub helps ensure clients in our Kosher Home Delivered Meals and Holocaust Survivor Care programs feel seen, cared for, and connected. We’re proud to recognize Patty as one of our 2025 Hearts and Hands Award recipients at this year’s Community Impact Celebration!
