Yesterday, we had the honor of helping voters get to the polls during the Georgia Primary Runoff Election.

He could not get into my gate, and he waited for me as I had to walk to the office. He was such a gentleman. The most kind person. The atmosphere was overwhelmingly beautiful.

Earlier, I called my Congressperson’s office to try and find a ride to the polls and they were very cold towards me and were going to direct me to the governor’s office. However, you and Mr. Boyd are very kind, and I really appreciate that.”

🌈 Pride Month is a time to celebrate how far we've come and remember those who made that progress possible.

Marsha P. Johnson was a Black transgender activist, performer, and community organizer who became a powerful voice in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights. During a time when LGBTQ+ people faced discrimination, harassment, and exclusion under the law, she helped inspire the movement that grew from the Stonewall uprising and fought for those often left behind.The freedoms many people enjoy today were won through decades of activism, courage, and civic engagement. Pride is not only a celebration of progress it's a reminder that rights can never be taken for granted.

Honor Marsha's legacy by staying engaged, supporting your community, and making your voice heard at the ballot box. The progress we've made was hard fought, and protecting it requires participation from all of us.

The Lieutenant Governor's main role is to be the first to succeed the Governor and to run Senate Operations. The Insurance Commissioner is responsible for regulating insurance companies and investigating insurance fraud.
