From sharpening fundamentals to learning championship-level techniques, our youth continue to grow both inside and outside the ring. Hard work, discipline, and dedication are on full display every week! 🥊🔥

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Dallas Police Department K9 Unit for taking time out of their busy schedule to visit with our Dallas Police Junior Explorers this evening. The presentation was both educational and engaging, providing our young participants with valuable insight into the important role K9 officers and their canine partners play in law enforcement.
The Junior Explorers were excited to learn about the specialized training, skills, and responsibilities of the K9 teams. Seeing the dogs demonstrate their abilities firsthand was a memorable experience that captured the attention of every child in attendance. The interactive presentation not only sparked curiosity but also helped strengthen the positive relationship between our youth and the officers who serve our community.
We are grateful to the K9 Unit for sharing their knowledge, professionalism, and passion for their work. Experiences like these inspire our Junior Explorers to continue learning, making positive choices, and developing an appreciation for teamwork, dedication, and public service. Thank you for making this evening both informative and unforgettable for our future leaders.

Great turnout this morning at our Coffee with Cops Event in Bonton. Chief Daniel Comeaux came out and engaged with the community and addressed some community concerns. Community members also got a chance to meet Dallas Police Southeast Commander Major Quinlan and Lt. Conley along with two of our new Bexar Street Storefront officers. Thank you Bonton Farms who provided the Coffee and the Comadres Unidas de Dallas for providing the pan dulce.

🏀 Summer camp at Dallas Park and Recreation Department is in full swing! Officers Martin and Marez are teaching the fundamentals of basketball to the youth in camp today! From dribbling and passing to teamwork and sportsmanship, the campers working hard, learning new skills, and having a great time on the court. is proud to help build confidence, character, and healthy habits through positive engagement and sports!

The focus today for at Dallas Park and Recreation Department was the Character Pillar today! We ended with a fun game of basketball and dodgeball. Great job, everyone! 🏀

⛳️ This morning, Officer Flores was out at Dallas Park and Recreation Department Kidd Springs Recreation Center helping young participants sharpen their disc golf skills! Through practice, patience, and plenty of throws, these students are building confidence and improving their technique as they work toward playing a full round on the course.

This afternoon at Boxing, located at Dallas Park and Recreation Department , Officer Marez is focusing on fitness today after the students have had a long weekend off.

What an incredible evening at the Dallas Independent School District Workforce Development Awards Ceremony held at the Frontiers of Flight Museum!

The event recognized outstanding industry partners and community supporters who continue to invest in the success of students. We are especially proud of our Dallas Police Explorers, who were honored with the Student Impact Award for their dedication, leadership, and positive impact on students and in our community .
