💙 Awareness is where prevention begins.
A big thank you to Michael’s in Rockwall for inviting us to be part of their Party Shop Event! Opportunities like this allow us to connect with our community, spark important conversations about child abuse prevention and child safety, and continue spreading awareness where it matters most.
We also loved bringing a little extra joy with our spin wheel...because building a safer community can (and should) include smiles, too!

Every month, our multidisciplinary team (MDT) comes together to facilitate information sharing and meaningful conversation between partner agencies to ensure a collaborative response to child abuse cases in Rockwall County. Our monthly sponsors help make these difficult conversations a little easier by providing breakfast. Together, we can work to bring hope and healing for children in our community.

We are grateful to Bruce Sherman of Texas DPS and Assistant DA, Justin Almand, for sharing this opportunity with us and to Fellowship Church for hosting us and prioritizing child safety.
